Quantic + Alice Russell w/ the Combo Bárbaro – “Look Around The Corner” | Music Video

If there’s any albums that I am anticipating this year, one of those releases is the new collaborative album Look Around The Corner from musical soulmates, English musician/producer Will “Quantic” Holland and Brighton based songstress Alice Russell.  

The album, which will be released via Tru Throughts April 3rd, is the first complete collaborative album from the two – and given their musical history as solo artists, this should be a rather impressive album.

Fans of the two are introduced are now to the title track from the album in a visual live format; shot and directed by co-founder of Mochilla, B+, in just one take and featuring Quantic’s Combo Bárbaro band.  With a lovely, easy, and almost vintage vibe and Russell’s voice sounding amazing, the song was recorded and cut live to vinyl in Hackney during the London riots on August 8, 2011.

Quantic & Alice Russell will be going on tour to promote the album, starting next month so make sure to catch them live, should be a great show. Look Around The Corner is now available to pre-order – and mark your calendars for the April 3rd release.
