Maverick Sabre – Let Me Go | Official Video

“Let Me Go” is the lead single from Maverick Sabre‘s forthcoming debut album, due to be released on Mercury later this year – imagine heading to Vegas to shoot your major label debut video. The track samples Isaac Hayes’ “Ike’s Rap II” – the same sample that was popularised by Portishead with its use on their 1995 single “Glory Box”.

Maverick is a hotly tipped Irish singer-songwriter who has been getting a lot of love in the past year. He had his first flirtation with the mainstream as a featured artist on Professor Green’s single “Jungle” last year and later made a widely publicized appearance on Jools Holland’s BBC2 show.
