Kid Ink ft. Machine Gun Kelly & Elle Varner – “No Miracles” | Music Video

Kid Ink: My Own Lane album cover

With his debut major label album My Own Lane just released this week – which you can listen to in full below – Kid Ink drops some new accompanying visuals for the single “No Miracles.”

My Own Lane is the Los Angeles based rapper’s second studio album; following Up & Away, which he released independently in 2012 to a Top 20 debut charting position stateside. One last indie mixtape, Rocketshipshawty, followed before announcing his deal with RCA Records last year and breaking it in with the well-received Almost Home EP.

DJ Mustard, Danja, Cardiak and The Runners are among the producers contributing to My Own Lane‘s soundscape, whilst featured collaborators include Pusha T, Tyga, August Alsina, King Los and Chris Brown, the latter of whom featured on the project’s opening single “Show Me.”

Enlisting a guest verse from Machine Gun Kelly while Elle Varner holds down the chorus, “No Miracles” serves to show all that there was no undeserving fast track to Kid Ink’s success. “‘No Miracles’ is a lifestyle me and my team live by,” the rapper told Rolling Stone, who premiered the black-and-white video.

“We didn’t skip any steps to get to this point. Our movement wasn’t like a shooting star exploding to the top quickly. It’s all about hard work, sacrifice and determination. Over here, we stopped crossing our fingers to wait on a miracle to happen in order to succeed.”
