Having already brought you the audio for Cash Money-signed rocker Kevin Rudolf‘s first offering from his upcoming third album — the uplifting and positive “Don’t Give Up” — the equally-inspiring visuals have just hit the interwebs.
Walking the streets of New York amongst Occupy Wall Street protesters, the lyrics of the track are particularly poignant: “Don’t give up, don’t look down, ’cause your time is gonna come around / Don’t look back, you’ve come too far. Baby you were born to be a star.”
Speaking on the song’s origins, Kevin tells Billboard: “It’s the first song I wrote for this album and I wrote it right when I moved back to New York from L.A. I was in L.A. doing a lot of writing and co-writing and production with other artists and I hadn’t even worked on my own project for about a year. And I just picked up a guitar one day and this song completely came through me. And I didn’t even feel like I wrote it.”
Rudolf’s new album is due this summer. Check out the track and accompanying visuals below.
