A nostalgic, rapid drum pattern accompanied by complimenting vintage visuals and Emelie Sandé‘s favourable vocals on a haunting melody make for a strong introduction in the official video for the Aberdonian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist’s debut single, “Heaven.” I’ll be reloading this all week; looking forward to hearing her debut album.

“Heaven” is a fine step into her own arena, having featured on singles by UK rappers Chipmunk (“Diamond Rings”) and Wiley (“Never Be Your Woman”), and written for Tinie Tempah (“Let Go”), Professor Green (“Kids That Love To Dance”) and Tinchy Stryder (“Let It Rain”).
