Drake – “Marvin’s Room” | Unofficial Video
WATCH THE OFFICIAL VIDEO HERE
It was bound to happen sooner or later. Following the rash of fan-made/unofficial video’s for artists such as The Weeknd and Frank Ocean‘s musical creations, it was only a matter of time before a fan made visual popped for Drake‘s very popular “Marvin’s Room” song taken from his forthcoming sophomore album Take Care.
Watch the video directed by IVAN and Aerick London.
Now a fan made video can either go either way (the visuals created by HC5 for “We All Try” and “In The Morning” are amazing) but I’m not really feeling this video. The fake “Drizzy” and some of the editing just doesn’t sit with me.
I personally think it’s corny to try and imitate the artist in a visual, it would work so much better if they tried to change up the storyline instead of sticking exactly to the song’s theme.
But those are just my thoughts. What are you guys thinking?
