Dizzee Rascal releases London 2012 Olympics song ‘Scream’ | Music Video

After stirring national pride with the Euro 2012-themed “Shout” earlier this Summer, Dizzee Rascal is back with another loud anthem, this time in support of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Entitled “Scream,” the sporting song sees the host emcee apply his usual double-time flow over the progressive, yet stripped-down, harp-laced instrumental, joined by the powerful lungs of his Dirtee Skank-signed artist, Katie Pepper. The accompanying video pastes together footage from both the iconic Rocky film and Dizzee’s live shows to make for some fitting motivation.

Hitting the iTunes store on August 5th, “Scream” is one of five official Olympic songs, with Muse, Chemical Brothers, Delphic and Elton John/Pnau each commissioned to record the remaining four. Check out the video below.
