Surprising new product outta West Virginia, D-WHY, continues to whet appetites for his upcoming debut project, Don’t Flatter Yourself. Following samples like “Kill Me Now” with Casey Veggies, “Bad Bitch Concierge” helped by CurT@!n$, and most recently “All Good” featuring G.O.O.D. Music producer-turned-rapper Hit-Boy, D delivers a new solo cut, “New York Times” and its accompanying visuals.
Categorised as a short film rather than a simple music video, the clip depicts a plot of violence, revenge and eventual murder, ample with contemporary cinematic thrill and film noir fundamentals. Jakob Owens and D-WHY himself take directing credits here.
