Arctic Monkeys have just dropped the visuals for their single, “Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?”, taken from forthcoming album AM, set to be released on 9th September.

The song and video are an exercise in late-night revelry and dicey booty calls. The video begins with frontman Alex Turner finishing off some drinks with his fellow bandmates as previous single, “Do I Wanna Know?” plays out to a flurry of distortions and the beginnings of some alcohol-induced hallucinations. As the track comes in with its funk-infused groove and Turner’s Sheffield drawl begins, he starts on a drunken quest through the city to meet up with a mystery girl. The video is directed by seasoned Frank Ocean and Kanye West collaborator Nabil and incorporates some wonderfully weird and funny visuals that have come to be his trademark.  Check out the great video and infectious song below:
