Having debuted at No. 10 on the UK Albums Chart this weekend, Trey Songz has scored his first ever top 10 album in the country with his brand new fifth studio album, Chapter V. The achievement comes just a week after his “Simply Amazing” single entered the Top 40 at the eighth spot, earning him his first UK top 10 single.

The new album also tops Trigga’s last achievement across the pond, when his 2010 LP, Passion, Pain & Pleasure, peaked at No. 22 on the UK R&B Albums Chart. The singer is expected to have more to celebrate this week, with Chapter V on course to top the Billboard 200 chart in the U.S. when figures are announced on Wednesday.

In other UK Albums Chart-related news, Scot Emeli Sandé retained the No. 1 spot for the second-week running with Our Version of Events, totalling its time on the chart to 28 weeks, while English songstress Jessie Ware debuted at the five spot with Devotion.
