Mr. Vegas performs tracks from new album Sweet Jamaica [Video]

Jamaican music legend Mr. Vegas recently passed through New York’s hottest Jamaican spot, Miss Lily’s (sidenote: my mate met Mos Def Yasiin Bey in there last week), for an acoustic session.

Vegas performs the title track from forthcoming LP Sweet Jamaica – a sweet ode to the land that we love – plus a throwback Caribbean festival inspired song entitled “Roses In My Garden.” Bonus song is a cover of legendary Toots & The Maytals “Sweet & Dandy” as featured on iconic film, Harder They Come.

Sweet Jamaica is scheduled for release this month.
