Mos Def Signs With Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music | News

What a power move!
After signing Pusha T – one half of the Virginia duo The Clipse, Kanye West has now gone and added the mighty Mos Def to his G.O.O.D. Music label alongside Kid Cudi, Common, Big Sean, Cyhi Da Prynce and more.

Kanye West has expanded his roster again, and like the most recent addition to his G.O.O.D. Music label, Pusha T, the new signing is another familiar face: seasoned hip-hop favorite Mos Def.

The Brooklyn MC and West talk about the deal and break down their musical relationship in the October issue of XXL, which comes out on Tuesday and features a Kanye cover story. And Mos Def makes an appearance on West’s G.O.O.D. Friday single “Lord, Lord, Lord,” along with Swizz Beatz, Raekwon and singer Charlie Wilson.

I think a Mos Def album produced by Kanye West would actually be probably the best product we will hear from Mos ever, just because Yeezy is an actual fan of Mos and would bring his A game to the project like with Common’s finding forever album.

What do you guys think of Mos’ G.O.O.D Music move?
