Mohombi – “Miss Me” (feat. Nelly) x “Bumpy Ride” | New Music

Super-producer RedOne unleashes his new artist, Mohombi, signed to his label imprint, 2101. On this cut, “Miss Me”, 23 year old Swedish and Congolese Mohombi teams up with rapper Nelly (I was just starting to wonder where he was, actually). While not greatly exciting, “Miss Me” is a nice summer bubbler that fuses a catchy hook with today’s brand of Euro-pop’n’B.

Mohombi – “Bumpy Ride”:

Having just shot a video for this, it looks set to be his first single. With a distinctively Eastern feel, uptempo “Bumpy Ride” reminds me a little of Holly Valance‘s “Kiss Kiss” (remember her?) I’m undecided on whether that’s a good or bad thing, but I do know that sound was kinda catchy, even though I had no idea what she was saying on the hook. I digress – hit play:
