Misha Bryan demands “Respect” with her X-Factor 2011 audition | TV Catch Up

After nearly a full summer of rumours, controversy and infighting, the award-winning “talent” show The X Factor 2011 (UK) is now in full swing. Last night, ITV televised the second episode of the new series featuring the usual random talentless, comedic auditions, mixed with a handful of genuine flashes of gifted vocal ability. One such auction, which at the very least can be described as the latter was by 19-year-old Manchester bred singer Misha Bryan. Using public transport, Miss Bryan traveled an hour and a half on to the Liverpool auditions with the hopes kick starting her dreams of becoming an internationally recognised superstar.

Supported by her my of her friends and family including both her Grandmother and her Aunty, who due to unfortunate set circumstances brought her up a young age, Misha commanded the X Factor stage in front of a near capacity and the X Factor judges Kelly Rowland, Tulisa Contostavlos (of N-Dubz), Gary Barlow (of Take That) and Louis Walsh performing her own renditions Aretha Franklin‘s classic song, “Respect” [Watch below].
