Miguel Atwood-Ferguson Ensemble f/ Pharoahe Monch perform “Shine” at JazzReggae Fest [Video]

UCLA’s annual two-day JazzReggae festival is the largest student ran festival in the United States, and always held during Memorial Day weekend. This year the line-up features an A-list roster of artists including the likes of The Roots, Thundercat, Gary Clark Jr, Shaggy and Collie Buddz. To build the anticipation for the event, here is a video from last year during Miguel Atwood-Ferguson Ensemble‘s set, which was a personal highlight.

Inviting Coco of Quadron, Bilal and Hip Hop legend Pharoahe Monch to be part of the set, the video below shares their live performance of Monch’s single “Shine,” from his current W.A.R (We Are Renegades) LP.  If you pay attention, you will also see Meshell Ndegeocello on the Bass.

Tickets for this year’s UCLA JazzReggae festival are available via JazzReggaeFest.
