MellowHype’s ‘Numbers’ album pushed back | Music News
While Odd Future fans have plenty of new projects to look forward to in the remainder of the year, they’re going to have to wait a little longer than planned for MellowHype‘s Numbers album. Taking to Twitter earlier today, one-half of the duo, Hodgy Beats, announced that the LP will arrive on October 9th – a week later than its original October 2nd release date.

The emcee, who forms MellowHype alongside producer and occasional rapper Left Brain, explained the delay, saying he’s working on getting the masters right, and won’t put out any music until he’s fully satisfied.
My album is great but it wasn’t in tact. I’m on tour getting these masters right. I won’t settle and put out music I’m unsatisfied with.

It was recently reported that the Odd Future pair would release a mixtape prior to Numbers on September 11th. However, in a recent tweet, Hodgy contemplated holding a “MelloHype week” instead, where they would release a new song everyday for a week.
instead of a mixtape on sept 11th, i was thinking about just having a “Mellowhype week” where i drop 1 Mellowhype song for a week straight.
