Mela Machinko – “What You Want Me To Do (I’m Sorry)” | New Music

Really loving what’s cooking down at the W.A.R Media camp of late. Following the release of Jean Grae‘s “Kill Screen” and Pharoahe Monch‘s “Damage”, singer & songwriter (and possibly the funniest woman on twitter) Mela Machinko, who you would remember from tracks like “Push” and “Shine“, steps up to the plate to deliver the first track from her forthcoming Jay Z inspired Hov Said It Best project titled “What You Want Me To Do (I’m Sorry)”.

Produced by Eric G. of 9th Wonder’s Soul Council, the track is her unique dedication to the Jiggaman’s feature on Mya’s “Best of Me” and is one of the tracks from the project which will utilize Jay Z references and re-interprete his lyrics while molding them into her own original songs.
