Meek Mill announces title + release date of debut album | Music News

The MMG takeover was in effect earlier today in New York City. Holding a much-hyped press conference this afternoon, hosted by RapRadar CEO Elliott Wilson and featuring guest speakers Swizz Beatz and Diddy, Rick Ross and his Maybach Music team Wale and Meek Mill (and the newly recruited Omarion, aka Maybach O) had plenty to share.

The Philly representative revealed both the title and release date of his forthcoming debut album: Dreams and Nightmares, coming August 28th. The album – which he says will show another side to his music and story – serves as the follow up to the Dreamchasers 2 mixtape, which is set to hit the net on May 7th.

The release dates for the remainder of MMG’s output were also announced. The label’s Self Made Vol. 2 compilation will be released on June 26th, French Montana‘s Excuse My French will be released on July 17th, Rick Ross’ highly aniticipated God Forgives, I Don’t will be released on July 31st, with Wale’s third LP, and second on Maybach Music, arriving at the very top of 2013.
