Mark Ronson x Wretch 32 hit the Red Bull studios London for “Record Collection” remix

World renowned producer Mark Ronson and London MC Wretch 32 (who recently scored a top 10 chart position with his single “Traktor”) spent time on Sunday at the Red Bull Studios to record a remix of “Record Collection” taken Mark Ronson’s latest album.

The original single on the album features the awesome Simon LeBon (Duran Duran) and The Godfather of grime Wiley. The remix plays on the great vocal patterns and harmonies laid down by LeBon with Amanda Warner (MNDR) taking the lead. What makes this tune even more exciting is that Mark is collecting rhymes from some of the UK’s freshest MCs, he told Red Bull Studios: ‘I’m a big fan of Wretch 32 since I heard his single Traktor. I was driving back from a gig in Birmingham listening to Mista Jam on Radio One and I caught the end of the tune.’ Mark will also be hooking up with Professor Green to spit some bars on a section of the tune and when he reaches NYC the beat-maker will also record a cypher from one half of The Neptunes, Mr Pharell Williams.
