On Thursday during the a stop off on the Las Vagas leg of his sold out Blue Slide Park Tour, man of the moment Mac Miller paid a visit to the Hot 97.5 radio studio’s for a sit down with the Sin City’s number one Hip Hop DJ, Bootleg Kev. Below is footage from the first part of their long conversation which included discussions about the possibly of the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania hailing rapper’s album Blue Slide Park being the first independent album since Tha Dogg Pound‘s Dog Food to debut at No. 1 on the US album charts, his reasons behind wanting to stay independent, the support from his loyal fan base, sampling Nas on “Nikes On My Feet” and his favorite emcee the late great Big L.
