Lupe Fiasco announces “Battle Scars” as next ‘F&L 2’ single; pushes back two other singles | Music News

Lupe Fiasco makes a slight chop and change to the order of singles from his forthcoming fourth studio album, Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1, today. Taking to Twitter, the Chicago emcee revealed that his next two proposed singles, “Form Follows Function” and “How Dare You”, have been pushed back from their respective August 28th and September 11th release dates, and will now arrive together on September 25th – the same day as Food & Liquor 2… is expected to drop.

Lupe also announced that “Battle Scars“, a track by Australian pop singer Guy Sebastian which he initially guested on, will be the next official single from his new album, and will arrive on August 28th. He went on to add that it is “OUR” song, so will be used as Guy’s in Australia, and his own in the U.S. and UK.

Earlier this week, Mr. Fiasco let it be known that the music video for his second Food & Liquor 2… single, “Bitch Bad“, will premiere on MTV RapFix Live on Wednesday, August 22nd, at 4pm EST.
