Hold on there, she isn’t finished just yet.
Not content with a certain all-action performance at Sunday night’s MTV VMAs making her the current the talk of the internet (and beyond), Miley Cyrus wastes no time in teaming up with Young Money rapper Lil Twist and Justin Bieber to provide her sound-track to her booty-shaking antics.
“I came up in this party, time to twerk!” the former Hanna Montana star announces on the chorus of this Maejor Ali-produced track. Justin Bieber contributes some smooth vocals singing “Girl we can take it slow/ Don’t need nobody to know” over this 808-heavy banger, fit for any club setting. Amongst the various versions to surface online, the longer 3:30 version features a rap verse from Lil Twist, who reportedly orchestrated the leaked collaboration.
With the arrival of Busta Rhymes‘ latest single, Amber Rose’ pre-nuptial Instagram frolic and the word ‘Twerk’ now added to the Oxford English Dictionary, it appears this raunchy dance phenomenon – if you can call it that – is now safely embedded within the mainstream arena, and is here to stay.
