Les Sins (Toro Y Moi) – “Fetch” + “Taken” | New Music

Toro Y Moi, real name Chazwick Bundick, has emerged as one of the most intriguing, interesting and wholly refreshing artists of the past few years. Commit to even a brief listen of his 2010 LP, Causers of This, or last year’s follow up, Underneath the Pine, and soothing, often bluesy, chillwave vibes should reverberate through your body at just the right note.

Much to the delight of his growing fanbase, Bundick is back with some new material, only working under a new European-inspired moniker of Les Sins. And with a new name, comes new sounds, as “Fetch”, and its accompanying B-side single, “Taken”, display much less modesty. Expect bullying basslines and erratic drum sequences with these two cuts, yet funky vibes all the same.

“Fetch” and “Taken” will be released later this month via Jiaolong.
