Leaders Of The New School to reunite without Busta Rhymes

Early ’90s Hip Hop group, Leaders Of The New School are set to reunite, minus founding member, the famed, Busta Rhymes. The current members, Charlie Brown, Dinco D and Cut Monitor Milo, will take the stage at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, NY on the 23th December, after 14 years apart.

News of Busta Rhymes’ exclusion shouldn’t come as a surprise to many Hip Hop heads as Busta Rhymes has been at war for many years with both former mentor Charlie Brown and Dinco D (following the break up of their seminal group).

In an interview with AllHipHop back in 2006 Dinco said, “I heard it on a Clue mixtape where [Busta] called us a bunch of b***hes… He said some real foul s**t, saying my crew’s acting like a bunch of b***hes…and following conversations, he’s just been mad disrespectful to me.” Dinco even released a diss track aimed at Busta titled “F**k Touch It,” as a response to Busta’s hit single “Touch It.”

With their last album was, 1993’s T.I.M.E. and the last time the group worked together fully was on Busta Rhyme’s classic debut, The Coming.

Shame really! Life’s too short for these beefs…
