Large Professor talks writing technique, favourite collaborations + more [Video]

Claiming relevancy again thanks to the release of both his new solo album, Professor @ Large, and his long-awaited collaboration with Nas on his Life Is Good cut, “Loco-Motive”, revered hip-hop producer-rapper Large Professor stopped by Sway Calloway‘s Sway In The Morning radio spot for an on-air performance and interview.

In addition to giving live renditions of “Looking at the Front Door”, one of Main Source‘s (his old wrecking crew alongside Sir Scratch and K-Cut) best-known tracks, taken from their 1991 debut LP, Breaking Atoms, as well as “Key To The City” and “Light Years”, both off his new album, Large Pro spoke on being more of a “songwriter” than an emcee, how collaborations in the ’90s were different, and listed the top four emcees he’s worked with (no spoilers, although you should already be able to guess one).

All that plus more below.
