Konan – ‘Look What You’ve Done’ (Drake Cover) [Video]

Konan, one half of the south London rap duo Krept and Konan, shows us a more sensitive side in this homage to his mother. In this moving acoustic cover of  “Look What You’ve Done,” originally performed by Drake on his Take Care album, Konan visits a few personal issues that have shaped him growing up and the role his mother has played.

With the backdrop of a simple piano, he addresses the murder of his stepdad last year and his torment dealing with that issue, his faith in Islam, growing up as a young boy getting in trouble with the law and his mother being there for him and remaining strong through his adversity. A very touching and personal version of an already emotive track. Watch the video below.

“This ones for my mum, my mother, my Marge / I know this road’s been a rough one, most of the time it’s been hard..”
