KiD CuDi updates fans on ‘Indicud’ album; “I lost my mind for a bit but I found it…”

With the new year looming, KiD CuDi took to Twitter on October 28 to reveal some new details of his much awaited project Indicud, which is due at the beginning of 2013.

Although it has been hinted in the past that it would be a double-disc project, he has now confirmed that it will be a single disc album, but jam-packed with up to 17 original songs.

Speaking on the new sound he’s working on, he says, “The energy of Indicud is it’s own new thing. New format with some of my favorite musical tricks here and there. Wayy more uptempos. Shit’s getting turnt up,” adding that the new album’s tone is, “positive and confident. I got my swagger back, truth. I lost my mind for a bit but I found it.”

The Cudder also reveals he’ll then be busy working on fellow Cleveland, Ohio hailing emcee King Chip‘s upcoming debut album, after which fans can anticipate a third installment of Cudi’s Man On The Moon album series.

And if that wasn’t enough, Cudi’s using his artistry in other forms by branching out into design. During his Twitter spree he mentions working with New Era on a new fitted cap design, and plans to revamp the Cleveland Indians logo to “something that doesn’t offend Native Americans,” apparently.

On a side note, he will also be selling his entire BAPE collection on eBay closer to Christmas, including items of clothing worn at concerts for all the fans to get a piece of – “Figured since I’m not wearing this stuff anymore, might as well get this paper back. Plus how cool is it to own my clothes? ha.”

Stay tuned for more details.
