Keyshia Cole f/ Meek Mill – “Zero” | New Music

Keyshia Cole‘s latest single “Zero” confronts a lying, cheating partner, declaring he will leave with nothing as she ends the relationship, whilst featured rapper Meek Mill, whose debut album Dreams & Nightmares recently debuted at #2 Stateside, shows his versatility on the track, delivering a laid back and reflective verse that fits well with Keyshia’s sentiments of disappointment.

“It’s about me leaving him with zero, basically,” the Oakland, California hailing songstress told SandraRose of the third single from her forthcoming album, Woman to Woman. “It’s like I’m coming into this relationship… first of all there are things like making sure that you’re secure within the relationship. But yet you cheated on me thinking that I could possibly have cheated on you. And it’s like you’re the one that got caught. So now you’re like, ‘Okay, I did get caught. I thought you was doing something but I got caught at it.’”

“I’m just saying I’m here and I apologize, but at the end of the day, if you’re trying to leave then, you know, you’re trying to leave. I can’t do nothing about it. But I’m trying to tell him, you should be still begging though. You should not have the attitude that, ‘OK you can leave.’ You obviously don’t care about the woman that you’re with. You should care more.”
