Keri Hilson – “Toy Soldier” | New Music

Behold “Toy Soldier”; an anthemic, anguished new cut from Keri Hilson‘s sophomore album:

“It’s basically my way of saying ‘girl power,'” Hilson recently told Billboard about the album’s title, No Boys Allowed; out just in time to catch a few days of last-minute Christmas shoppers on December 21st.

“The album is about empowering women to be themselves and keep control of their confidence… It’s not about alienating men, it’s just about wanting to school them on what it takes to be considered a man as opposed to a boy.”

Featuring production by the likes of Timbaland, Polow Da Don, Danja, Ne-Yo, Chuck Harmony, Boi-1da and Stargate and collaborations with Kanye West, John Legend, J. Cole, Chris Brown, Rick Ross and Nelly, No Boys Allowed is the follow-up release to Keri Hilson’s 2009 debut, In A Perfect World.
