Kendrick Lamar x Danny Brown Cover The FADER #78 Spring Style Issue | Music News

New York-based bimonthly magazine The FADER pride themselves on having a finger on the pulse of the current cool. Having bagged the heavily-cosigned Californian emcee Kendrick Lamar and the intriguing oddity out of Detroit Danny Brown for their forthcoming #78 Spring Style Issue, it looks like they haven’t changed one bit.

Sending their experienced writers Andrew Noz (aka Cocaine Blunts) and Duncan Cooper off packing to Los Angeles and Detroit respectively, both got the full scoop on Kendrick and Danny to document the past and present of both rappers’ young careers. Also in the upcoming issue are features on The Congos‘, Sun Araw‘s and M. Geddes Gengras‘ collaboration Reggae album, Icon Give Thank; and insight from Gerlan Marcel of Gerlan Jeans on future trends.

Read the Kendrick Lamar story here and the Danny Brown story here in their entirety, and be on the lookout for The FADER #78 Spring Style Issue to hit stands on March 6th.
