Kendrick Lamar talks ‘good kid, m.A.A.d city’, working with Dr. Dre + more with Tim Westwood [Video]

After footage of his freestyle on the show surfaced earlier in the week (need I mentioned he killed it?), here we can watch Kendrick Lamar‘s interview portion during his time with Tim Westwood on BBC Radio 1Xtra. In a good-natured chat, K. Dot spoke further on his hugely-anticipated debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d city (which he confirmed drops on October 2nd), naming a few of the tracks’ titles – “Dying of Thirst” and “Cherane” – and revealing he recorded approximately 40 records in total for the LP, with around 13 of those making the final tracklist.

In the interview, Kendrick also spoke on growing up in Compton, his working relationship with Dr. Dre, his scheduled joint project with J.Cole and more. Check it out below.
