Kendrick Lamar + Lady Gaga collaboration pushed back | Music News
The news that “the new king of the West Coast” Kendrick Lamar and pop juggernaut Lady Gaga are to collaborate on a single for Kendrick’s upcoming debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d. city, has become one of the biggest talking points in hip-hop circles. But it looks like fans will have to wait a little longer to hear the joint effort, entitled “PARTYNAUSEOUS”, as Gaga has taken to Twitter to announce its delay.
Im REALLY sorry to the fans. record w Kendrick won’t be out on the 6TH i’m SO SORRY its not my album, i don’t control dates. but stay tuned!
— Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) August 23, 2012
The single was originally scheduled to be released on September 6th, but Gaga hasn’t provide an alternative date. With good kid, m.A.A.d. city expected to hit shelves on October 2nd, let’s hope it arrives before then. And – worst case scenario – let’s hope the delayed single doesn’t ultimately push back the album’s release.
Stay tuned for further details on Kendrick Lamar and Lady Gaga’s collaboration.
