Kendra Morris – “If You Didn’t Go” | Music Video

Last year, New Yorkbred songstress Kendra Morris released one of my favorite songs still to this day, “Concrete Waves.” The breakout single, which begged the question, “Have you ever rode a concrete wave?” garnered Morris a considerable buzz with publications like Rolling Stone as well as around the blogosphere. Now the Wax Poetics Record signee releases her brand new single, “If You Didn’t Go.”

The song, which is reminiscent of the days of ‘70’s blue-eyed soul and Fleetwood Mac’s “Brown Eyes,” is a nice progression for Morris.

You can purchase the 45 rpm 7-inch vinyl at the Wax Poetics Storefront and the song via ITunes here.  Can’t wait to hear the full project from Ms. Morris.
