Kanye West x Jay-Z – Watch the Throne Tour Backstage Ep. 6: Church [Video]

Following the three episode drop The Throne unleashed a few days ago comes the sixth installment of the duo’s VoyR backed web series.
Entitled “Church,” the episode finds Yeezy disclosing his thoughts how, via commercialization, artists and their craft are not revered today as they once were during the 60’s, 70s and 80’s. “Its one thing to get the connotation of being a great musician but the issue of that is, music has been cheapened and commercialized in a negative way. That the connotation of being a great musician doesn’t have the same power that it did in the 80’s, the 70’s the 60’s…” The episode also features cameos by Big Sean, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson, James Blake and Manny Fresh.
