The 2012 BET Awards took place last night (Sunday) in Los Angeles, and G.O.O.D. Music were handed the keys to the opening performance. Donning an all-white uniform, Big Sean, Pusha T and 2 Chainz got things underway with their performance of “Mercy”, before setting up label boss Kanye West for a live rendition of his Hit-Boy-produced banger, “Way Too Cold” (previously “Theraflu”).

And as if that – coupled with an incredible supercar stage prop – wasn’t enough of a spectacle, Yeezy then debuted his verse from the hugely-anticipated and soon-to-be-released single, “New God Flow” (which will also feature Pusha T), a capella. With his finger a fixture on the pulse of modern culture, ‘Ye referenced everything from the Yeezy IIs and LeBron James to the late Rodney King and Whitney Houston.

Needless to say, “New God Flow” sounds like it’s worthy enough for the Big Man himself. Feel free to join us in anticipation for the song’s full release.
