Kandi talks relationships & introduces new single “Me&U” [Video]


Having penned and produced hits for others for years, Kandi Burruss finally follows up on her 2000 debut, Hey Kandi, with Kandi Koatedout now. Having fun with the promo run, the Atlanta-based R&B singer-songwriter recently stopped by Singersroom for their second installment of interview series “Kandi’s Room” to talk about relationships and introduce her next single, “Me&U,” from her latest album.

“I do not want a househusband. I think it’s that southern girl mentality,” she says. “I was just brought up with…the man is supposed to be…the provider. I’m not expecting every guy to necessarily be in the same tax bracket…but I still want him to be at least doing well for himself.” Jokingly adding, “Don’t be looking at me when the bill come when we’re going out to eat.”
