Juvenile

Looks like Juvenile, Mannie Fresh and Turk have somewhat officially repaired their relationship with Cash Money if their tribute to the New Orleans label at the 2013 BMI Awards is any indication.

Before Birdman and Ronald “Slim” Williams received the BMI Icon Awards, at the ceremony, held at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom on August 22, the New Orleans artists performed classic hits including “Back That Thang Up” and Trina paid tribute to Nicki Minaj through her own rendition of “Moment For Life.”

Every member of the Cash Money Army, excluding Drake [could be due to his ASCAP allegiance?], were present for the night, which was hosted by Mr. “Hit it First” Ray J, and Cash Money’s parent company Universal Music Group won Publisher of the Year whilst Machine Gun Kelly was honoured with the BMI Social Star Award.

Watch some performances from the night below.
