Justin Timberlake’s ‘The 20/20 Experience’ tops the Official UK Album Chart | Music News

Following news that Justin Timberlake’s long awaited return to music, The 20/20 Experience is expected to sell between 850k-900k units first week in the US, the album has shot straight to the top of the Official UK Album Chart, once again proving his status as one biggest names in pop.

The 10-track project, which included British #1 “Mirrors”, was revealed as the holder of the top spot after selling 106,000 copies, a figure greater than the rest of the top five combined.

Having been announced only two months before its release (as quite a few of the big artists in music are doing nowadays), the well-received album was subject to much hype and promotion in the weeks leading up to its release, and clearly the unusual tactics paid off. As confirmed by JT himself just under a week ago the “second half” of The 20/20 Experience will be released later this year.

British fans who missed out on his recent visit will be able to catch the star live as he headlines two days at the Wireless Festival in July before embarking on his Legends of the Summer tour with Jay-Z later that month.
