Taking a trip to Saturday Night Live last night to promote his upcoming album The 20/20 Experience, besides hosting the show for the fifth time Justin Timberlake and his band The Tennessee Kids rocked the house with the hits “Suit & Tie” and “Mirrors.”

Bringing out special guest Jay-Z for “Suit & Tie,” Timberlake’s stage performances as of late have been of a more refined yet superior nature. While his performance of R&B chart mainstay “Mirrors” was a shortened one, his dig at Kanye West on the second verse of “Suit & Tie” – “My hit so sick got rappers acting dramatic” – following the rapper’s London rant about his distaste for the song, was more than enough entertainment to make up for it. So what’s next? Yeezy vs. JT? With Kanye West, it wouldn’t surprise us.

With this hosting duty marks Justin Timberlake’s fifth appearance on Saturday Night Live, which puts him in the exclusive five-timers club. Ushered off of the stage and in to an inner sanctum, he encountered a slew of SNL vets including Steve Martin, Paul Simon, and Chevy Chase. In a short skit the guests talk about the exclusive club and mock both Dan Akroyd, who as a mere one-time only host was reduced to the club’s barman, and Martin Short, who, also not a member of the club, played a mistreated waiter.

Peep both of Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience SNL performances below.

The 20/20 Experience is due out March 15th.
