Justin Bieber f/ Chance The Rapper – “Confident” | Music Video

Justin Bieber's "Confidence"

Amid arrests and allegations surrounding DUIs and drag racing, Justin Bieber steers the internet’s water cooler chatter back to the music by dropping a new video for his “Confident” collaboration with Chance The Rapper.

Taken from Bieber’s distinctly R&B-driven Journals album, which was released in December following a 10-week Music Mondays campaign unveiling a portion of the new tracks online, the song is produced by Soundz – who, coincidentally, actually produced a song called “DUI” for Ciara‘s self-titled album last year.

The slick video for “Confident” was directed by Colin Tilley, and follows the 19 year old popstar as he pursues a sassy young lady who catches his eye. Cue crew-flanked dance routines and a pushy, stalkerish approach rendered effective and acceptable only in music video land – plus an effortlessly quirky appearance from Chicago’s Acid Rap prince.
