Jadakiss f/ Fabolous + Lloyd Banks – ‘Respected’ | New Music

Having offered up “Paper Tags“, the first trunk-rattling, Southern-sounding sample from his forthcoming Gangsta Grillz-officiated mixtape Consignment, yesterday, Jadakiss lets loose another round of speaker-splitting basslines with “Respected”.

He may round up the Big Apple soldiers Fabolous and Lloyd Banks for this cut, but it’s far from quintessential New York hip-hop. Think less early The L.O.X. and more Dipset in their pompous prime and you’re somewhere close. With two leaks in two days, I wouldn’t put it past Jada to release another track tomorrow.

Consignment is set to drop this Friday (April 27th). Props to Sway on the premiere.
