J. Cole’s debut LP set to take Billboard top spot with projected sales of 250,000 In 1st Week

Despite the leak of the highly anticipated debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story (read our review here) projections of the North Carolina hailing rappers first week sales are stupendously high. Reports suggest that the album is en-route to sell 240,000 to 250,000 copies in its first week, landing J. Cole a spot atop the Billboard Charts.

If this materializes, Nicki Minaj will be knocked off her spot as having the biggest debut album for a solo act with Pink Friday. It would also be the first time a solo act’s debut album has reached number one since B.O.B‘s The Adventures of Bobby Ray.
