Iggy Azalea – “Down South” | New Music

In anticipation of the release of Grand Hustle first lady Iggy Azalea‘s next project on Thursday (Oct. 11th), the Australian rapper drops her first featured track from TrapGold – with the 1stDown of FKi and Diplo produced “Down South.”

Following her ‘Bac 2 Tha Future (My Time)’ release earlier in the week, ‘Down South’s sassy, hi-hat heavy, jouncyingly-knocking instrumental sees Iggy refer to certain sexual favours in an amusing manner. “Looking up North, while you touching down South/ I’m saying where I want, so you taking it out… That Hello Kitty, no pencil pouch…” raps Iggy, accompanied with a looped video of her running down the middle of a palm tree-lined street.

In advance of her debut album The New Classic, the southern-twanged rapper’s third mixtape TrapGold includes a sole feature from Juicy J on “Flexin & Finessin,” and is executively produced by Diplo and 1st Down of Fki.
