Ice Cube announces title of 10th album | Music News

While at California radio station’s KDAY‘s Krush Groove concert this past weekend, Compton O.G. Ice Cube spoke briefly with MTV about his next album — the tenth solo release of his illustrious career — which he’s tentatively decided to call Everything’s Corrupt.

The title (which we assume refers to the American government and, probably, the music industry) is true to Cube’s career-long anti-establishment tilt, and the nearly 30-year rap vet says the album’s sound will remain true to what he’s always done with his music.

“It’s just really hardcore West Coast Hip-Hop — what I do,” he says. “I don’t think changing the formula is what should be done. It’s all about do what you do best and give the people what they want.”

Cube gave no indication of when fans could expect Everything’s Corrupt, but says he’s currently working on the album. Cube’s last album, I Am The West, was released in 2010.
