Hit-Boy f/ Kid Cudi – ‘Old School Caddy’ | New Music

Hit-Boy keeps his new-found rapping career in good stead. After surprising everyone with the sublime, Bink!-produced “Jay-Z Interview” last month, the G.O.O.D. Music-signed producer (who is best known for crafting the bangin’ backdrops to Lil Wayne and Eminem‘s “Drop The World,” The Throne‘s “N*ggas In Paris,” and A$AP Rocky‘s “Goldie”) debuts his second solo effort, “Old School Caddy” with the assistance of Kid Cudi.

Hit-Boy claims the production credits this time, and cooks an uptempo rhythm, one led by rusty drums and relieved by a melodic chorus. The host handles the first two verses, while Cudder channels his A Kid Named Cudi rap flow for a raging third. All in all, this is a very solid piece of work.

As we saw in the initial teaser for “Old School Caddy,” it looks like a stunning music video is on its way. For now, stream and download the audio below.
