Havoc issues statement: “To all Mobb Deep fans: it’s business as usual!” | Music News

After the barrage of 140-charactered insults aimed Prodigy‘s way earlier today, it turns out that Havoc‘s account was hacked after all. In a statement issued to RapRadar moments ago, the Mobb Deep producer-rapper denied responsibility of the tweets claiming he had his phone stolen.

Just getting back into NY after my Easter weekend with family and friends in Jersey. I left my phone at a gas station yesterday evening while on my way to Jersey after a glorious Knick’s game. To all Mobb Deep fans: it’s business as usual! It’s Mobb Deep all day!!! My twitter account @THEREALHAVOC will be down until further notice. The only other real account is @PRODIGYMOBBDEEP. Ignore the rest. One!

The news will undoubtedly come as a huge relief to Mobb Deep fans after Havoc’s unexpected shots signaled the break up of one of hip-hop’s most formidable duos. In a rant earlier today, Capital H’s Twitter account targeted a slew of insults P’s way, bringing both his sexuality and street credibility into question before aiming direct threats at the emcee.

Looks like its business as usual over in Queensbridge, folks. Party over.
