GTA-V-big

Sure, many folks love the violent action of Rockstar’s iconic Grand Theft Auto series for its ridiculous open-world gameplay, but long-time fans understand that its accompanying licensed soundtrack is what truly gives the series life. As the fifth main entry in the series (there are 15 in total) nears its Sept. 17 release date, gaming website IGN has discovered a leak by way of a UK digital pre-load of Grand Theft Auto V.

From the looks of things, the series will not only stay in line with the high quality radio stations but will reflect the West Coast vibe of the game, which takes place in a fictional version of Los Angeles named Los Santos. This means having DJ Pooh host the West Coast Classics radio station which plays Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, N.W.A., Tupac and more, whilst for the contemporary stations fellow Westsiders Kendrick Lamar, The Game and YG will be included.

Grand Theft Auto V will be available to purchase for Sony Playstation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 from Sept. 17, 2013. View the leaked soundtrack below.
