Goodie Mob return with new single “Fight to Win” | New Music

We’ve waited very patiently for some new material from the ATLien Dungeon Family affiliated group since they announced a reunion album over a year ago, now finally we get the first official taster from the forthcoming Goodie Mob album.

“Fight To Win” is the first single from the Atlanta hailing group consisting of Cee Lo Green, Khujo, Big Gipp and T-Mo and was premiered live on NBC’s singing contest The Voice last night and is taken from Age Against The Machine the first album as a complete unit since the 1999 release World Party (Goodie Mob released an album without Cee Lo in 2004 titled One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show). Listen to “Fight To Win” after the jump.

For all our lucky readers who can watch it (the video below is blocked in certain countries *Sigh*), check out Goodie Mobb’s performance on The Voice below.

Although I’m ecstatic about hearing some new material from the Mob, I was slightly disappointed. The track sounds just like a solo Cee Lo or Gnarls Barkley track, as he holds down most of the vocals on the track and we don’t get to hear much from the rest of the guys apart from a few ad-libs and chants.

But I’m sure we will get a lot more from the unit on the forthcoming LP. Welcome back Goodie Mobb.
