In the summer we heard that Goodie Mob were reuniting after a seven year hiatus, and whilst their fifth album, We Sell Drugs Too, seems to have been pushed back to a 2013 release date, last night (13th December) the LA Leakers premiered a newly released recording entitled “I’m Set“.
No idea if this will appear on the forthcoming album, but “I’m Set” sounds like a decent update on the ATL crew’s sound, and unlike May’s gospel-infused release “Is That You God”, this features all of the group’s members, including Cee-Lo Green, rapping, over a real beat, driven by bass drums and an imposing horn section.
