Future – “Honest” | New Music

Future -

The past year has seen significant rise to fame for Atlanta hailing rapper/singer Future who has managed to establish himself as arguably one of the hottest properties in Hip-Hop. His ear for providing a definitive hook and to provide that finishing touch to make a hit single has won him many plaudits, leading to him work alongside the likes of DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Ciara, Kelly Rowland and most recently Jennifer Lopez.

It was back in April 2012 that he released his debut LP Pluto which, with help from singles like “Tony Montana” and the Mike WiLL-produced “Turn On The Lights”, went on to peak at number eight on the Billboard 200.

Earlier this year the former Dungeon Family protégé announced plans to unleash his sophomore album titled Future Hendrix with the lead single “Karate Chop” being premièred. Fast-forward to August and it now appears we have a brand new title for the project and a release date of November 26.

Of the name change Future says:

Honest is the new me. It represents the truth I try to bring to my music. I plan to break the mold with this album so that it will be nothing like you’ve heard from me or any other artist out. You can either tell the truth or face the Future

The title track for the project “Honest” has now surfaced online as we hear the Freebandz head-honcho once again flexing his auto-tuned vocals over this head-bopping Metro Boomin-produced track.
